Website Redesign Project
Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC)
The redesign of the IAAC website (iaac.net) was a comprehensive project aimed at transforming the site into a dynamic and effective platform that reflects the institute's identity as a global leader in innovation and research across architecture, design, robotics, and urbanism.
The primary goal is to enhance the website's role as a principal generator of student applications, converting visitors into applicants for IAAC’s academic programs. Simultaneously, to position the institute as a cutting-edge hub for groundbreaking research and innovation in its fields.

The process
The project began with an in-depth analysis of the existing website, gathering data to identify its strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. This included quantitative metrics, user feedback, and usability assessments to pinpoint issues affecting user experience and conversion rates.
From these insights, we moved into the strategic phase, developing a robust information architecture to streamline navigation and enhance content discoverability. Wireframes were created to visualize the user journey and ensure alignment with the institute's objectives. Finally, the design phase brought the vision to life, blending functionality with a modern aesthetic that reflects IAAC's innovative spirit.
This collaborative and iterative process resulted in a website that is not only visually compelling but also optimized for its core purpose: attracting and engaging prospective students while positioning IAAC as a pioneer in its field.
